Grown in the highlands of Huehuetenango at the world-renowned Finca El Injerto, this washed SL-28 is a remarkable expression of the Aguirre family’s dedication to quality. Cultivated between 1,500 and 1,920 metres above sea level, the coffee benefits from mineral-rich soils and a cool microclimate that encourages slow, even cherry maturation, resulting in exceptional complexity and clarity.

The cup opens with a juicy, vibrant acidity characteristic of the SL-28 variety, beautifully balanced by a generous sweetness that adds depth and harmony. Notes of blackcurrant take centre stage, complemented by a delicate touch of cardamom and a rich date-like sweetness that lingers on the finish.
