Colombia El Diviso Typica Mejorado comes from Lilo Coffee Roasters, produced by Nestor Lasso — a young second-generation farmer whose family has cultivated coffee for over 26 years at Finca El Diviso in Bruselas, Huila, Colombia, at 1,600–1,800 MASL. Working alongside his brother Adrian, Nestor combines traditional farming with innovative fermentation techniques, constantly researching how to maximize the character of each variety. The Typica Mejorado — a rare variety selected and refined in Ecuador — lends an elegant, almost Geisha-like floral quality to the cup. The fermented washed process draws out bright pineapple and muscat flavors, a refreshing orange blossom character, and a silky yogurt-like finish with a subtle hint of pink pepper.
