Kaffeelix - Eli Espinoza Espresso
Tasting notes: Candied Orange, Floral, Bergamot, Chocolate, Spicy
Kaffeelix Eli Espinoza Espresso is a washed Geisha from the high plots of Las Pirias, Chirinos, Peru, grown at 1,850–2,000 MASL. Eli Espinoza arrived in Chirinos as a teenager picking coffee on other farms — today he owns four hectares and produces some of Peru's most celebrated microlots. After a 24-hour in-cherry shade fermentation and a 36-hour parchment soak, the coffee is dried on raised beds, yielding a silky, complex espresso with elegant bergamot and candied orange notes, delicate florals, and a refined chocolate finish with a subtle spicy intrigue.
