Our Colombia Rayo single origin coffee comes from producer Alexis Rayo at Finca Buenavista in Piendamó, Cauca. Grown at 1,700 to 1,900 masl from Colombia and Caturra varietals, this coffee is processed using an extended fermentation washed method. Alexis is a founding member of the Arte y Pasión Cafetera association, contributing to a broader regional effort focused on improving quality and access for producers.
This cup is clean, structured, and composed, with notes of blood orange and grapefruit bringing a bright citrus lift that settles into a deeper sweetness of toffee chocolate. The extended fermentation builds a rounded sweetness and clarity that carries through the finish, creating a balanced and precise cup that feels thoughtful and well executed from the first sip to the last.
