Monogram - Nafkot Admasu

Nafkot Admasu grows Ethiopian landrace coffee on a 1.8-hectare family farm in Gedicho, Yirgacheffe. A former primary-school teacher, she inherited the property from her father and grows coffee under the shade of false banana trees. She has worked with Ephtah Specialty Coffee since 2022, alongside nearby family members who also supply cherries.

For this natural lot, ripe cherries are selected, floated and dried on raised beds for 12 to 15 days. Local women then hand-sort the coffee before export. Blueberry, black currant and brown sugar define a juicy, sweet profile. This filter version offers both the berry character of natural Ethiopian coffee and a direct connection to a small family producer.
