This Geisha selection comes from Fazenda Rio Brilhante in Pântano, a coffee-growing area of Minas Gerais, Brazil. The farm’s distinct seasons and reliable seasonal rainfall favour natural processing, while tree plantings between growing sections help shelter the coffee from wind. Founded by Inácio Urban and later joined by the next generation of his family, Rio Brilhante produces separately managed lots across its varied growing areas.

Rogue Wave’s natural Geisha selection, identified as a 2025 harvest, offers lemon, grape and blueberry with lilac aromatics and an almond finish. It provides a different expression of the same farm from the Icatu selection. For brewing, the roaster suggests resting two to three weeks, using a 1:15–16 filter ratio at 91°C, or a 1:2.4 espresso ratio at 92°C in 27–30 seconds. Supplied as 250g of whole beans.
