LILO - Eldorado "Back Door Man" - Brazil - Fully Washed - Catuai 99
Tasting notes: Papaya, Blood Orange, Caramel, Honey
Eldorado Farm is a historic coffee estate located in the Alta Mogiana region of Ibiraci, Minas Gerais, Brazil, where coffee has been cultivated for over a century.
This is the first time LiLo Coffee has had the pleasure of featuring their coffee.
Combining traditional farming methods with modern techniques,
the farm continues to pursue ever higher quality in every harvest.
This lot is a rare washed coffee from Brazil, where natural and pulped natural processes are the norm. It’s a delicate coffee that truly reveals the bean’s natural potential.
Although it’s a challenging coffee to roast, we’ve designed a roast profile that brings out not only the nutty richness typical of Brazil, but also the clean impression of the washed process and the gentle sweetness reminiscent of caramel and papaya.
At Eldorado Farm, coffee processing is paired with music—
each lot is named after a song that inspires its character.
This one takes its name from “Back Door Man” by Willie Dixon,
the legendary songwriter who shaped the golden age of Chicago blues.
It’s a coffee best enjoyed slowly, perhaps while listening to this very song.
① Gentle notes of papaya and blood orange in sweet-tart balance.
② A lingering sweetness reminiscent of caramel.
③ A syrupy molasses finish with a complex aftertaste.
