Kiangoi comes from the Rungeto Farmer’s Cooperative Society in Kirinyaga, Kenya. The washing station serves farmers around Ngariama, an area where volcanic soils support both tea and coffee. Rungeto also operates Kii and Karimikui, two other stations familiar to La Cabra.
Most farmers delivering to Kiangoi grow SL28 and SL34, with a small amount of Ruiru 11. This washed lot is fresh and crisp, with a vivid redcurrant character and floral hibiscus notes. Its light roast highlights the clean, expressive profile of a classic Kenyan coffee and works for filter or espresso.
