Monogram Coffee

Monogram Coffee began in Calgary, Canada, in 2014, founded by baristas Ben Put, Justin Eyford and Jeremy Ho. The three friends first served coffee from a pop-up cart, bringing the attention to detail of competition brewing into an approachable everyday setting.

That competition experience remains central to Monogram’s identity. Co-founder Ben Put earned his seventh Canadian Barista Championship title in 2025 and placed third at the 2025 World Barista Championship. His work connects careful coffee selection with the practical decisions that shape flavour in the cup.

Monogram’s range includes dependable blends and seasonal single-origin coffees, supported by relationships with producers. Its roasting aims to make the character of each coffee clear and enjoyable, whether the appeal is familiar sweetness or a more unusual variety and process. The result is a roaster with serious technical credentials and a welcoming approach to specialty coffee.
