Fritz Coffee Company

Fritz Coffee Company was founded in Seoul, South Korea, in 2014 by a group of coffee and bakery professionals. The team includes green-coffee buyer Do-hyun Kim, roaster Byung-ki Kim and barista Geun-ha Park, whose experience includes winning the 2014 Korean Barista Championship.

Fritz brought those complementary skills into a café culture with a distinctly Korean visual identity. Its seal mascot and references to older Korean shops are memorable, but the coffee programme is built on the less visible work of selecting green beans and maintaining relationships with producers.

The company now roasts in Paju and places particular importance on the quality of its raw ingredients. Its profiles aim for a balanced, enjoyable cup rather than one uniformly light style. Direct sourcing relationships, sensory evaluation and the combined experience of buyers, roasters and baristas are central to understanding Fritz beyond its packaging.
