Frequently Asked Questions

We source specialty coffee from leading roasters in Canada and around the world, featuring coffees from a wide range of origins across Africa, Central and South America, and Asia. Our selection includes light, medium, and darker roasts, chosen to highlight origin character, balance, or depth depending on the coffee. We offer coffees processed using washed, natural, honey, and modern fermentation methods such as anaerobic and experimental processes. We work with roasters who prioritize quality, traceability, ethical sourcing, and thoughtful roasting, using advanced roasting technology and data-driven profiles to consistently express each coffee’s full potential.
We always aim to ship the freshest possible coffee from our partner roasters, while respecting the natural degassing process that specialty coffee requires after roasting. Freshly roasted beans release CO₂ for several days, and according to specialty coffee standards (including SCA guidance), most coffees reach their optimal flavor after a short resting period—often 1–3 weeks depending on the roast level and brewing method. Coffee beans remain high quality for weeks and even months when properly stored, with flavors evolving over time as aromatics open up and balance improves. If you’d like to know the exact roast date before ordering, you’re always welcome to contact us—we’re happy to help you choose the coffee at the stage you prefer.
We ship across Canada and the United States using trusted carriers such as UPS, FedEx, DHL, Purolator, Canada Post, and other major logistics partners. Orders are processed within 1–2 business days, and shipping is always sent using fast, priority services. Most customers receive their coffee within 3–5 business days, depending on destination and carrier availability.
Because coffee is a perishable product, we’re unable to accept returns or exchanges once an order has been shipped. That said, your satisfaction is extremely important to us.

If you’re not fully satisfied with your specialty coffee—whether due to freshness, quality, or an issue with your order—please contact us within 7 days of delivery. Our team will carefully review your situation and do our best to find a fair and thoughtful solution, which may include a replacement, store credit, or another accommodation where appropriate.

We curate and ship premium specialty coffee beans from trusted roasters, and we stand behind every order. If something isn’t right, we want to know—and we’ll make it right.
To preserve the freshness, aroma, and flavor of your specialty coffee beans, store them in an airtight container at room temperature, away from light, heat, and moisture. Oxygen, humidity, and temperature fluctuations are the main factors that cause coffee to lose its complexity over time.

We recommend keeping your coffee in its original resealable bag with a one-way valve or transferring it to a high-quality airtight container. Avoid storing coffee near ovens or windows where heat and sunlight can accelerate staling.

Do not refrigerate or freeze your coffee for daily use, as condensation and odor absorption can negatively affect flavor. For best results, grind your coffee just before brewing and enjoy it within a few weeks of opening to experience the coffee at its peak.
