La Cabra - Megadu Anaerobic - Ethiopia - Anaerobic
Tasting notes: Stewed Fruit, Complex Aromatics
Megadu Anaerobic comes from Bette Buna's project near Megadu in Ethiopia's Guji region. Dawit and Hester Syoum work with neighbouring growers and community partners to improve coffee quality and access to the specialty market. This heirloom lot is grown at approximately 2,100 metres.
Anaerobic processing gives the coffee an expressive aromatic character and rich notes of stewed fruit. La Cabra roasts it lightly to retain the lot's complexity and clarity. Offered in a 200g box, it is suitable for both filter and espresso.
