La Cabra - Kii - Kenya - Washed

Tasting notes: Redcurrant, Black Tea, Molasses

Kii comes from the Rungeto cooperative in Kirinyaga, Kenya, where smallholders around Ngariama grow coffee on the slopes of Mount Kenya. This washed lot brings together SL28, Ruiru 11 and Batian, grown at approximately 1,800 metres.

Fresh redcurrant gives the cup its lively acidity, balanced by black tea and the deeper sweetness of molasses. La Cabra's light roast preserves this clear Kenyan character for both filter and espresso.
