This washed Geisha comes from Raul Perez and the Perez family at El Llano in Guatemala’s Acatenango region, where the coffee grows at 1,600 metres in the shadow of the Fuego volcano. Raul is known for combining careful farm work with experimentation, on-site cupping and a strong focus on quality and sustainability. The estate also preserves a substantial area of natural forest alongside its coffee land.

The Perez family uses a traditional washed process, with the work completed manually from selective picking through drying. That careful handling preserves the variety’s elegant character and produces an intensely floral, clean cup. Jasmine aromatics lead into juicy grapefruit-like acidity and a lingering lemonade sweetness, with a light body and a delicate yet sweet finish.
