Mayor from Laos is Escape’s first coffee purchase from the country and an extension of its Mayor series. The lot comes from smallholder farms in Champasak on the Bolaven Plateau, where altitude, volcanic soils and abundant groundwater support high-quality Arabica. It is a washed Catigua grown at 800–1,350 metres, with a clean, expressive profile.

Escape describes Bosc pear, Glossette chocolate and brown sugar, a cozy combination of fruit, cocoa and soft sweetness. The coffee can be brewed as filter or espresso; Escape’s published starting points are a 1:17 drip ratio or a 1:2 espresso ratio in about 28 seconds. The result is a versatile lot with approachable sweetness and clarity.
