Estela comes from Felipe Estela at Finca El Roble in Cajamarca, high in the Peruvian Andes. Grown at 2,100 metres, this washed coffee reflects the producer’s focus on dependable quality and careful work through each harvest. Escape sources the coffee through Crop to Cup, whose work in Peru connects smallholder producers with roasters and supports greater recognition for their coffees.

The cup opens with sponge-toffee sweetness, followed by bright ground cherry and the softer fruit character of canned pear. Its comforting sweetness gives way to a clean, balanced finish, making it an approachable coffee for everyday brewing. Prepared as filter coffee or espresso, Estela offers a gentle balance of caramel-like sweetness and fruit without losing the clear finish described by Escape.
