Big Sur Coffee - Sewda G1 Premium - Ethiopia - Washed

Sewda G1 Premium is a washed Ethiopian coffee from Benti Korba in Oddo Shakisso, Guji. Ethiopian heirloom varieties are grown at 1,900–2,100 metres and processed at the Sewda washing station, giving this high-elevation lot the clean structure and clarity associated with carefully prepared washed coffees.

Big Sur selected Sewda during its 2026 origin trip after blind-cupping 28 washed coffees from Testi. The roaster found this crop carried more sweetness and weight while preserving the station’s clarity, with magnolia florals, honey peach, bergamot, lime and watermelon juice layered over a silky texture and lingering sweetness.
