Big Sur Coffee’s Esmeralda Special Natural Geisha Tumaco 4NC comes from the Tumaco plot at Hacienda La Esmeralda’s Cañas Verdes Farm in Boquete, Panama, grown at 1,750 metres. This exceptionally limited Geisha was harvested on January 21, 2026 and naturally processed without additional fermentation, with the whole cherries slowly dried for 44 days in a cold room. The cup is intensely floral, opening with elegant gardenia and jasmine before developing bright sweet-orange character and juicy apricot sweetness. A smooth, honey-like texture carries through the finish, giving the coffee both richness and remarkable clarity. Tumaco is an extremely small one-hectare plot situated closer to Volcán Barú, creating a distinctive microclimate and making its coffees particularly scarce.
