Kenya Kangurumai Washed AA comes from Big Sur Coffee, sourced from the Kangurumai Factory of Kangiri Farmers Cooperative Society in Muranga County, Kenya, at 1,500–1,700 MASL. Like Big Sur's other Kenyan offerings this season, this lot comes through their trusted partner Kamavindi Coffee Lab — a leading technical consultant and exporter working closely with farms and cooperatives to elevate Kenya's specialty coffee quality. This lot is part of a long-term project focused on purifying SL28 and SL34 varieties while separating Batian and Ruiru 11, achieving a cleaner, more concentrated classic SL profile. The result is a coffee of exceptionally vibrant, full acidity — rich plum juice sweetness, a candy-like preserved plum note, and delicate hints of mango aroma that linger through to the finish.
