Big Sur Coffee - Kangurumai AA - Kenya - Washed

Tasting notes: Plum Juice, Blackberry, Preserved Plum Candy, Mango

Kangurumai AA is a washed Kenyan lot from Kangurumai Factory in Muranga County, operated by Kangiri Farmers Cooperative Society. Grown at 1,500–1,700 metres, it focuses on the classic SL28 and SL34 varieties and presents the concentrated sweetness, clarity and lively acidity associated with carefully selected Kenyan AA coffee.

This coffee is part of a quality project between Kamavindi Coffee Lab and Kangiri FCS that works to preserve and purify the SL28 and SL34 profile while separating Batian and Ruiru 11 cherries. In the cup, juicy plum and blackberry deepen into preserved plum candy, with a delicate mango note adding a tropical finish.
