Transcend - Farami
Tasting notes: Plum, Dark Toffee, Orange
Farami comes from Transcend Coffee, grown by husband-and-wife team Juan Luis Fallas and María Eugenia Ramírez at their celebrated micro-mill estate in Quemado de Dota, Tarrazú, Costa Rica, at 1,750 MASL. The name FARAMI is a blend of the couple's family names — a fitting tribute to a farm built on partnership since the 1980s, when the original coffee trees were planted from orphaned seedlings found growing by the roadside. Today, Farami is a model of sustainable, eco-friendly farming, with organic fertilizers from their animals and methane-powered facilities. This honey-processed lot of Caturra, Typica, and Bourbon is a balanced, comforting cup with notes of sweet plum, dark toffee, and crisp orange.
