Tasting notes: White Peach, Elderflower
Bishan Wate is produced in Guji by Testi Coffee and Faysel Adham Yonis from mixed-heirloom varieties grown around 2,200 metres. Freshly hand-picked cherries are delivered directly to the washing station, where lots selected for the special-preparation program receive additional sorting before depulping and washing. That extra selection supports the lot’s remarkable clarity and silky texture.
The cup opens with jasmine and apple-blossom aromatics, followed by juicy white peach, elderflower, and bright lemon. Its fruit character is refined rather than heavy, and lively citrus keeps the profile precise as it cools. Balanced and floral from the first sip to the finish, Bishan Wate works well as filter coffee or a light, vibrant espresso.
