This exceptional micro-lot showcases the rare Typica Mejorado variety, elevated through an innovative Oak Barrel Natural process. The coffee undergoes a 120-hour anaerobic fermentation in oak barrels that have previously aged rum for more than 20 years, creating a truly distinctive and memorable cup.
Inspired by the world of fine spirits, this unique fermentation method allows the coffee cherries to absorb subtle characteristics from the seasoned oak barrels, adding remarkable depth and complexity. The result is a vibrant, silky, and intensely flavourful coffee with rich chocolate notes, layered sweetness, and a refined spirit-like character.
