Grown at elevations between 1,950 and 2,200 metres above sea level, this exceptional Ethiopian coffee is carefully processed at the Chelbesa Washing Station, located over 2,000 metres high in the village of Danche. Sourced from hundreds of smallholder farmers, the coffee is cultivated in a semi-forest environment where coffee trees grow beneath a rich canopy of biodiversity alongside crops such as bananas. This unique terroir contributes to the coffee’s remarkable clarity, complexity, and sense of place.

In the cup, vibrant notes of candied lemon and black tea create a bright, elegant structure, while juicy plum and ripe peach bring sweetness and depth. Floral, expressive, and beautifully refined, this coffee is a classic example of a high-altitude Ethiopian profile, offering a lively and memorable drinking experience.
