El Angel Bourbon Washed comes from Proud Mary Coffee, produced by Rafael Silva Jr. at Finca El Ángel on the Santa Ana volcano in El Salvador, at 1,450–1,600 MASL. The sixth and newest addition to the Silva family's operation — a Proud Mary partner since 2015 — El Ángel was purchased in December 2022 and is exclusively planted with five distinct varieties including Red and Orange Bourbon, Pacamara, SL-28, and Geisha. This traditionally washed Bourbon is a testament to Rafa's meticulous approach to picking, processing, and drying, delivering a sweet, refined cup with notes of caramel, melon, and red currant.
