Proud Mary Coffee - ETHIOPIA | Abana Estate | Anderacha | Heirloom | Washed
Tasting notes: Floral, black tea, caramel and peach
Abana Estate was founded by Peter Omran and is managed by his sons Michael and Chris. Its name means “our fathers” in Arabic, reflecting the family’s connection to heritage and Ethiopia’s coffee traditions. Peter’s background in humanitarian work continues through projects supporting the community around the estate.
Anderacha takes its name from the river bordering the farm. This washed heirloom offering combines floral aromas and black tea with caramel sweetness and peach, bringing together delicate aromatics and stone-fruit character. Proud Mary provides brewing guidance for both espresso and filter. This is the washed version, distinct from the estate’s natural-process coffee.
