Colombia EA Decaf da Caña comes from Proud Mary Coffee USA, sourced from smallholder farms across Huila, Colombia — a region nestled between the Andes' Central and Eastern ranges where 80% of producers farm less than three hectares. Decaffeinated using a natural ethyl acetate (EA) process derived from fermented sugarcane, the EA bonds with and removes caffeine while preserving the coffee's original character and adding fruity complexity. The result is anything but a regular decaf — a washed Castillo and Caturra cup with bright notes of orange, stone fruit, and malt, a soft acidity, and a long, satisfying aftertaste.
