PHIL & SEBASTIAN - Santa Teresa - Yellow Honey Geisha
Tasting notes: Lemongrass, Peach, Black Tea
Santa Teresa Geisha comes from Phil & Sebastian Coffee Roasters, produced by Alex and Roger Ureña at their Providencia farm in Dota, Tarrazú, Costa Rica, grown at 1,850 MASL. Roger has been rooted in coffee farming since childhood — following in the footsteps of his parents and grandparents — and founded the Santa Teresa 2000 micro-mill after outgrowing the cooperative model. Renowned for growing rare and innovative varieties, the mill processes this Geisha lot using a yellow honey method, leaving mucilage on the bean during drying to impart a gentle sweetness and complexity. The result is a highly refined, sparkling filter cup with notes of lemongrass, sweet peach, and delicate black tea.
