Our Peru Roxy Cordova single origin coffee comes from San Ignacio in northern Cajamarca, where coffee production is built on small farms and strong relationships.
Grown and coordinated by Roxeny Imar Amari Cordova, this lot reflects a system where producers often work together to move coffees forward, with Roxeny playing a key role in connecting smallholders to wider market access while managing her own farm.
Grown at 1,700 to 1,800 masl, this coffee is composed of Typica and Caturra varietals and processed using an extended ferment washed method. Cherries are carefully selected, briefly rested in sealed bags, then depulped and fermented under controlled conditions before slow drying in parchment. In the cup, expect structured sweetness with notes of apricot, passion fruit, and elderflower. Clean and expressive, with a lingering finish that gives the coffee more depth than its clarity first suggests.
