Datura Coffee Paris - Bombe Ayla - Ethiopia - 74110 - 74158 Natural
Tasting notes: Pink Guava, Blueberry, Mango, Apricot
Datura’s Bombe Ayla 74110–74158 is a naturally processed Ethiopian coffee from the highlands of Bombe in the Sidama Region, grown at around 2,000 metres and processed at the Ayla washing station. The lot combines the 74110 and 74158 varieties, selections originally catalogued by the Jimma Agricultural Research Centre. Freshly handpicked cherries are carefully sorted before being dried on raised beds for 15–20 days, with regular turning and hand sorting to ensure even drying and remove defects. Sourced from smallholder farms where coffee grows beneath native shade trees, this coffee reflects the distinctive terroir and careful craftsmanship of the Bombe area. The combination of high-altitude cultivation, traditional natural processing, and meticulous quality control results in an expressive Ethiopian coffee with a strong sense of origin.
