Big Sur Coffee - Los Cenizos Bourbon Malaguetto BW158 - Panama - Washed

From the Malaguetto plot at Finca Los Cenizos, this Bourbon is grown by Estela Pitti in the cool highlands of Cerro Punta. The shaded forest setting above a canyon encourages slow cherry ripening. The cherries were harvested on May 14, 2026, then traditionally washed and dried for two weeks on raised beds.

The cup combines delicate white flowers and berries with the rounded sweetness of apricot and tangerine. A lingering honey finish gives this small Panamanian lot a particularly sweet profile. Big Sur’s super-light roast presents the washed coffee’s clear fruit character.
