94 Celcius - Caro Citric - Colombia - Co-Fermented
Tasting notes: Tangerine, Milk Chocolate, Creamy
Caro Citric is an expressive Colombian coffee from Carolina Ramirez’s Guayacanes farm in Antioquia. Made from Castillo and naturally co-fermented with mandarin leaves and bitter orange, this coffee showcases a bright and juicy profile with fresh tangerine, milk chocolate, and a creamy texture. Fermented for 140 hours and slowly dried on African beds, it delivers a vibrant cup with a sweet, lingering finish.
Carolina developed this lot through experiments with Unblended Coffee producers, using ingredients from the Guayacanes ecosystem to enrich rather than mask the coffee. Perfectly ripe cherries are stabilized for 24 hours, fermented for 140 hours in closed tanks with leaves from the farm's mandarin trees and bitter orange, then slowly dried on African beds for three to four weeks.
