MOMUS is a specialty coffee house founded in Paris, France, in 2022 by Lionel Giraud, whose background includes artistic direction in the luxury industry. Coffee expertise comes from master roaster Daniela Capuano, the first woman to earn the Meilleur Ouvrier de France title in coffee roasting, in 2019.

Capuano grew up with a connection to her grandparents’ coffee farm in Minas Gerais, Brazil, and began her professional coffee journey as a barista in Belo Horizonte. That experience brings an understanding of coffee as both an agricultural product and a finished drink.

MOMUS presents carefully selected single origins and composed blends, with attention to cultivation and the work of producers. Roasting is adjusted to the intended expression of each coffee, including fuller espresso profiles such as Outrenoir. The house combines Giraud’s design background with Capuano’s sensory expertise and Brazilian coffee heritage.
