The Future: Strawberry Shortcake is a seasonal expression of Black & White Roasters’ long-running The Future blend, created with a focus on innovative processing and flavour-driven coffee. This Colombian blend brings together five coffees from Forest Coffee, Unblended, Diego Horta, and Nestor Lasso, combining co-fermented, experimental, natural, and thermal shock washed coffees to build a profile inspired by the classic strawberry shortcake dessert.

The cup is intensely sweet and fruit-forward, with abundant strawberry and red fruit character balanced by a refreshing lemon-zest acidity. A smooth, creamy body and pronounced vanilla sweetness evoke whipped cream and vanilla cold foam, while the combination of different processing methods adds depth and complexity. The result is a playful, dessert-like coffee that captures the flavours of strawberry shortcake in a vibrant specialty coffee.
