Grown in Kenya’s Nyeri County, this washed AA coffee comes from the Gathaithi Cooperative, a community of more than 1,600 farmers working in the cool, volcanic highlands. The cup showcases the clarity and vibrant acidity that Kenyan coffees are known for, opening with crisp redcurrant and its lively red-berry character. As it develops, delicate sencha tea brings an elegant, refined quality, followed by juicy orange that softens the acidity and adds a refreshing finish. With an 87-point score and a filter roast, this coffee is a precise and expressive representation of Nyeri’s distinctive terroir.
