Big Sur Coffee’s Esmeralda Special Natural Geisha Durazno 3NB comes from the Durazno plot at Hacienda La Esmeralda’s El Velo Farm in Boquete, Panama, grown at 1,750 metres. Harvested on January 29, 2026, the cherries were naturally processed without special fermentation and slowly dried for 41 days on raised beds. The result is an unusually clean and delicate natural Geisha with a profile reminiscent of a washed coffee. Fragrant jasmine and hibiscus lead the cup, followed by bright red-berry acidity and a sweet, refreshing orange finish. “Durazno,” meaning peach in Spanish, is the name given to this distinctive plot. Its transparent mouthfeel and elegant floral character make this a particularly refined expression of Hacienda La Esmeralda Geisha.
