Anaerobic Honey Coffee
Explore anaerobic honey coffee from specialty roasters. This label combines fermentation in an oxygen-limited environment with honey processing, where the coffee is dried after depulping with some mucilage left on the seed.
These coffees can show expressive fruit notes, sweetness and a rounded texture, but the result depends on the producer, variety, roast and individual lot. Honey processing refers to the sticky coffee mucilage; it does not mean honey has been added.
