Flower Child Coffee - Heri Agena Landrace - Ethiopia - Fully Washed
Tasting notes: Wildflower Honey, Grapes, Citrus
Heri Agena comes from Niguse Gemeda's sourcing area in Bura, Sidama, where approximately 500 smallholder farmers cultivate Ethiopian landraces, including 74158. This small lot grows at exceptionally high elevations and offers a clear expression of the area's floral and fruit character.
Ripe cherries are selected by hand and depulped before fermenting in open tanks for 72 hours. After washing, the coffee dries slowly under shade on raised beds for up to 21 days. Wildflower honey, grapes and citrus shape the cup, with further impressions of guava, berries, apple and coffee blossom supported by a cleansing acidity.
