Porton 2NB is a natural Gesha grown at 1,700 metres on El Vélo, one of Hacienda La Esmeralda’s farms in Boquete, Panama. The Peterson family helped establish Gesha’s international reputation through its Best of Panama success in 2004. This specific selection comes from the Porton plot and offers a clearly documented expression of the estate’s 2026 harvest.

The cherries were picked on January 6, 2026 and taken to Hacienda La Esmeralda’s mill in Palmira. They were then slowly dried whole on raised beds for 23 days. Keeping the fruit intact during drying defines the natural process and distinguishes this coffee from the farm’s washed lots.

Datura’s tasting notes combine cantaloupe, orange, strawberry and cherry blossom. The profile brings together melon sweetness, citrus and red fruit with a floral accent. Alongside Aguila 4NC, Porton provides an opportunity to compare two natural Geshas from El Vélo: different plots, growing elevations and drying methods offer distinct perspectives on the same farm and variety.
