This washed Walega comes from the Rumudamo station in the highlands of Arbegona, Sidama. Local smallholders deliver ripe cherries from farms around 2,200 metres, and Subtext has worked with this station across multiple harvests.

After selection and depulping, the coffee is fermented, washed and dried on raised African beds. This treatment puts the emphasis on clean fruit acidity, floral aromatics and a structured, refreshing finish.
