Spilt Milk Coffee Roasters - Daily Driver
Tasting notes: Honeycomb, Candied Orange, Brown Sugar
Daily Driver is a washed Guatemalan coffee grown by Ricardo Zelaya at Finca Santa Clara. Spilt Milk discovered the farm’s coffees through Billy at Common Goal Coffee, whose longstanding relationship with Ricardo connects the roaster to this producer. Selected for its clean sweetness and syrupy texture, this coffee forms part of Spilt Milk’s everyday range.
A medium roast brings forward honeycomb, candied orange and brown sugar notes, balancing a sweet profile with enough body to enjoy with milk. Daily Driver is roasted for flexibility across brewing methods, from a morning filter brew to espresso. Spilt Milk recommends a 16:1 water-to-coffee ratio for filter, or a 2:1 yield-to-dose ratio for espresso with a starting shot time of approximately 30 seconds. This bag contains 250g of whole beans.
