PRODIGAL - Chelbesa One Espresso

Chelbesa One Espresso comes from Prodigal Coffee, sourced from the Chelbesa One Washing Station in the Gedeb Zone, Ethiopia, managed by SNAP Specialty Coffee. Approximately 1,000 smallholder farmers deliver cherry to the station, each farming 2–3 hectares at elevations of 1,950–2,200 MASL. This heirloom lot of Korume and Wolisho varieties undergoes a traditional two- to three-day dry fermentation, followed by thorough washing and meticulous drying on raised beds for 7–10 days. Roasted specifically for espresso, it delivers a clean, refined shot with notes of apricot, grape, and delicate black tea.
