PRODIGAL - Chelbesa One

Chelbesa One comes from Prodigal Coffee, sourced from the Chelbesa One Washing Station in the Gedeb Zone, Ethiopia, managed by SNAP Specialty Coffee. Approximately 1,000 smallholder farmers deliver cherry to the station, each farming 2–3 hectares at elevations of 1,950–2,200 MASL. This heirloom lot of Korume and Wolisho varieties undergoes a dry fermentation in tanks for 2–3 days, followed by thorough washing and meticulous drying on raised beds for 7–10 days. The result is a clean, refined filter coffee with notes of apricot, grape, and delicate black tea.
