Pilot Coffee - Nantic - Mexico
Tasting notes: Vanilla Bean, Praline and Cane Sugar
Nantic, meaning "our mother" in Tzeltal, is a coffee rooted in tradition, community, and care. Produced by 225 indigenous women farmers in the highlands of Chiapas, Mexico, this coffee is grown on small family plots using time-honoured farming practices passed down through generations. Rich volcanic soils and careful cultivation create a cup that is both comforting and beautifully balanced.
In the cup, expect warm notes of toasted nuts, gentle sweetness, and a smooth, approachable character. Easy to enjoy and wonderfully versatile, Nantic is a rewarding coffee that celebrates both exceptional craftsmanship and the strength of its farming community.
