Sugar Heist is all about sweetness and balance. It’s designed for those who like their base notes (chocolate, almonds, etc…) but want to explore, in a very minor way, the taste of fruit in their coffee.
The current Sugar Heist release comes from Carlos Castro Solano at Rio Jorco in Aserrí, Tarrazú, Costa Rica. This third-generation estate grows Catuaí at 1,600 metres and uses a white honey process. Three-quarters of the property is protected for conservation, honouring the legacy of founder Jorge Zeledon Castro.
