U Sai Wan Maing, owner of Green Land Estate, began focusing fully on coffee cultivation in 1998 after a diverse career in exports and rubber plantation management. He was recognized by the FAO in 2003 as an Outstanding Coffee Grower. He is now one of Myanmar’s key coffee industry leaders and among fewer than 20 certified Q Graders in the country. In 2019, he also completed a Level 2 certification in coffee processing.
