Their dedication was rewarded in 2021 when their very first competition entry from the village of Alo won Ethiopia’s Cup of Excellence, establishing Alo Coffee as one of the country's most exciting producers.
This carefully crafted lot undergoes a 48-hour dry fermentation after depulping, allowing sweetness and complexity to develop before washing and drying. The result is a beautifully clean and expressive coffee that reflects the passion, precision, and innovation behind every harvest from Alo Coffee.
