Fredesvinda Estela farms at 1,850 metres in North Cajamarca, Peru, and supports her two children through coffee together with her husband. Like many young producers, she began with doubts, but careful plot renovation and infrastructure improvements have helped her build remarkably consistent washed lots. Her farm also grows Bourbon, Marshell, and Catuay, and she plans to introduce more varieties as the operation develops.

El Morito supports this progress through producer-level processing and group consolidation, giving Fredesvinda a structure that matches her ambition to compete at higher quality levels. Hatch sourced this lot through Crop to Cup. The washed Yellow Caturra preserves clarity and balance while presenting ripe plum, jujube, fig, and black tea, with fruit sweetness and tea-like structure for both filter brewing and modern espresso.
