Escape Coffee - Cottage - Colombia - Washed

Tasting notes: Baked Apple, Grapefruit, Brown Sugar

Cottage is a long-running Escape Coffee staple, now represented by a washed harvest from Nariño, Colombia. The lot combines coffees from three farms and a blend of varieties grown at 2,100–2,400 metres, where some of Colombia’s highest coffee elevations contribute to the bright, juicy character Escape selected for this release.

A simple fermentation and washing process keeps the cup clean and lets the collaboration among producers remain clear. Grapefruit brings brightness, while baked apple and brown sugar round the profile with smooth sweetness. The coffee is designed to work as espresso, filter or iced coffee.
