PRODIGAL – Finca Meridiano

This fresh-season Ecuadorian Typica Mejorado from Finca Meridiano highlights the elegance and depth of this celebrated variety.

In the cup, expect vibrant notes of mango and grapefruit, layered with a complex spice character reminiscent of nutmeg. The profile is tropical, structured, and expressive.

Finca Meridiano is located at the base of the Western Andes. Owner Mario Hervas has produced specialty coffee there for over 15 years, earning recognition in multiple competitions, including Cup of Excellence.

Following hand-harvesting, cherries were rinsed and floated to remove defects. They fermented in cherry for 24 hours, then were pulped and underwent 48 hours of anaerobic fermentation. After washing and draining, the coffee dried in a greenhouse environment to ensure clarity and consistency.
