La Pradera returns with a freshly arrived new crop, once again highlighting the expressive character that has defined previous releases.
In the cup, expect vibrant notes of blueberry, grape jam, and fresh citrus, supported by lively acidity and layered sweetness. This lot was initially introduced through a subscriber preview and is now available more broadly as a limited release.
Processing begins with a 24-hour whole cherry fermentation, followed by depulping and an additional 48–52 hours of dry fermentation in tile tanks. The coffee is then dried on covered raised beds for approximately 15–20 days, promoting clarity and consistency in the final profile.
La Pradera is led by brother farmers Luis Enrique and Robinson Cuellar. Luis Enrique focuses on agronomy, while Robinson specializes in post-harvest processing. While Pink Bourbon represents their primary variety, the farm also cultivates Geisha, Caturra, and Pacamara.
